The following example applies red formatting to the first endnote in the selection. This tutorial shows how to insert footnotes and endnotes in Microsoft Word using the tools in the ribbon.

The index number represents the position of the endnote in a selection, range, or document. The page numbers will appear when you click the Update Citations and Bibliography button in Words EndNote ribbon.
